We are a family owned business that excels in offering you the utmost quality and
professionalism for all your photo needs. You are always treated with the respect and dignity that
our business is founded on. Brian Shimla Photography normally serves London and
South-Western Ontario, but does accept invitations to further locations.
Our father purchased each of us our own camera well before our teen years
and introduced us to his darkroom as soon as we could see into the solution
trays - boy has technology changed! My father, the true artisan, also shared
his love for all arts by sending me to art classes, and with his hands on
teaching, introduced me to the art of working in metal and rendering.
In the spirit of continuing this fantastic way of expressing and capturing
visions from within, our son packs his camera with him and already
impresses others with his mature eye at only 13 years of age.
Brian describes himself as right-brained through and through. He is a lefty, emotional, intuitive,
impulsive and imaginative. He sees in colors and shapes, thinks in images and emotions. He is
a graduate of Fanshawe College, UBC and continuing education at UWO. As a strong believer
in continuing education, we regularly attend professional courses to stay abreast of new changes.
Also, please welcome us in being first time proud grandparents...so many more photos to enjoy!
